Yoga for Mind & Body
I enjoy doing yoga in my home and rarely go to a class. Why? Well, for me, I enjoy the quiet solitude in my home. I created a room in my home dedicated to yoga, meditation and foam rolling (check out my mind-body section to learn more!). Keep in mind, I was not able to do this until my children were grown and gone!!!
Some find it extremely beneficial to go to a class. And if you can find a place that you love, that is wonderful. It can be very helpful to have a yoga teacher guide you to correct posture in poses. And, I have had guidance from a yoga teacher. However, I had a tendency to feel the stress from others in a yoga class. It was actually a yoga teacher that introduced me to online yoga classes. I fell in love!!
For a very long time I used another online yoga source, however I have since discovered yogadownload.com and I love it for many reasons. First, the pricing is unbelievable reasonable. Second, the classes are excellent. The yoga teachers safely guide you through the poses with explanations that are understandable.
The format for searching is perfect. Check it out, no need for me to say more!!! Also, I was sold when I saw that they offer more than yoga!! Barre, pilates, weight-lifting for yoga and so much more. And be sure to check out the meditations. You know from my mind-body section, meditation is so helpful.
